Shadow Leadership Team 2019-2020

Alice, Bethany, Melody and Dailey are our Shadow Leadership Team for 2019-2020.

Alice and Dailey were members of last year’s Shadow Leadership Team and are now training two new members: Bethany and Melody.

The team work closely with the Senior Leadership Team in school to address issues which concern pupils and to ensure they have a voice in senior decision making. Each term our team give a presentation to the full governing body on a topic of their choice.

Last year the presentations included: an update on our School Improvement Plan; the development of a Poverty Proofing Plan and a presentation based on their work with the School Council to identify ‘What Makes Stanhope Barrington CofE Primary School unique’.

The Shadow Leadership Team also worked closely with our Foundation Governors to review and update our School Self Evaluation document, providing vital feedback from the pupils’ perspective.

We can’t wait to see what this year’s team will achieve! Good luck guys!

Shadow Leadership Team 2018-2019

Our Shadow Leadership Team are Alice, Jacob, Dailey & Bonnie. The Shadow Leadership meet regularly with the Senior Leadership Team to discuss ideas and suggestions across the whole school. They are a listening ear for other children to take their suggestions. The Shadow Leadership Team also deliver a presentation to our full governing body once a term at the Governing Body Meeting.

Being a member of our Shadow Leadership Team helps children to develop leadership skills, confidence and resilience. They learn how to communicate in different ways with a range of different people and this role helps to develop a real sense of responsibility.
