What a lovely surprise

When Mrs Cross opened the door at school today (7th May) she never expected such a lovely surprise! There stood Deborah Richardson who runs Weardale Avon in the Dale. Debbie handed over two gorgeous gift bags full of Avon products which Debbie was giving out to key workers to thank them for keeping Stanhope going.

Debbie has organised about 100 gift bags, which are all sponsored by various individuals and companies in Weardale who just want our key workers to know they are appreciated.

The school’s gift bags were sponsored by Freya (who attended the school) and Weardale Adventure Centre at Ireshopeburn.

Our team were very touched and grateful for this kind gesture and all of the products are in the staff facilities to be shared by staff working in school on the rota.

We would like to thank Deb Richardson, the sponsors and Avon for their support.
