On Friday 3rdMarch 2017 the Bishop of Durham, Paul Butler, along with Father Phillip and Derek, visited our school. The team presented an assembly and told the story of the hidden treasure. A Q&A session was then held with class 3 – who had prepared some very challenging questions for the bishop. Parents, relatives and school governors also attended. Before leaving, the team stayed for lunch and continued their discussions with the children. Bishop Paul commented on how well behaved our children were, how welcoming the school was and he was very impressed with the questions the children had generated. His answers were frank, honest and inspiring and the children (and adults) learnt a great deal.
