Easter Opening

The Museum will be open from Saturday 4th April until Sunday 19th every day from 1.30pm to 4.30pm for the school holidays. Children go free and just £3 for adults. We will have things to do – the Mouse Hunt, Museum Detective and some Easter activities. Love to see you!

VE Day Exhibition and Event

Our special exhibition to commemorate VE Day will open on Saturday 25 April and will be open on Sunday 26 April, Wednesday 29-Sunday 3 May and Wednesday 6-Sunday 10  May; 1.30pm to 4.30pm.– we have uniforms, stories of Weardale people in WW2, kit bags, replica rifle, helmets and even a portable loo!, Lots to see and do.

Special event on Friday 8th May open from 11am with even more to do! Join the fun and come in 1940’s style clothes!
