On Friday 15th July 2016 we held our annual Sports Day. The event was kicked off by our Nursery children who took part in various races including the obstacle race, bean bag shuffle and running races.
The weather just about held as the school sports day began with the Dolphins, Golden Eagles, Cheetahs and Tigers competing against each other. The children took part in the javelin and the relay race before the heavens opened and it started to pour down. Despite the miserable weather we continued until it was decided that the grass was too slippery and it would have been dangerous to hold the running races for the older children. Although they were disappointed, they soon had a smile back on the faces when they got their ice cream!
Many thanks to all of the parents, grandparents and friends who braved the miserable weather to support our children.
