Linda is a Rural Advice Worker in Weardale. Linda is a fully qualified Citizen’s Advice Worker. Funding from the Weardale Action Partnership enabled the service to be brought to Weardale in the form of home visits to residents who are unable to travel to a Citizens Advice office.
The service offers help with all aspects of welfare benefits advice e.g. identifying eligibility for a benefit, helping to make a claim and challenging negative decisions on behalf of the clients. During the Coronavirus outbreak, Linda is continuing to work with residents of Weardale by telephone.
