On Friday 28th September 2018, our Charities Team (Jess, Ashton, Henry and Georgia) organised a fantastic coffee morning in aid of MacMillan Cancer. Parents and relatives were invited to attend a coffee morning and we were overwhelmed by the support our event received. During playtime children came into the hall to buy cakes which had been donated by our fantastic families.
Our brilliant ‘Friends of Stanhope Barrington’ helped to serve the drinks and tidy the kitchen and hall following the event. It was a great community event which we are very proud of.
Children learnt about the importance of helping others and how this links to our Christian values of kindness and fellowship through their lessons. At the end of the day’s events we raised a total of £330.60!!
