On Wednesday 21st October 2015 we welcomed back Lisa from Lynx Theatre Company. Lisa has worked with our school for many years and what she achieves with our children in one day is amazing. Class 3 worked with Lisa all day putting together a play called ‘It’s all Greek to me’ linked to their current topic of The Ancient Greeks. The children worked really hard and got into the spirit of the event. At the end of the afternoon the rest of the school and parents were invited to come into school to watch the resulting performance.
Every year we say that this was the best ever performance but, this year, it truly was outstanding. Every child took part, with many children playing a number of different parts. There were some hilarious moments and a particularly amazing moment when Ben sang a solo which stunned us all. This experience is invaluable in building and developing confidence and aspirations. We look forward to welcoming Lisa again later in the year.
