I have been informed today by Durham County Council Online Safety Team that there is something going around on TikTok claiming that the 24th April 2023 is “National Rape Day”. This has been shared significantly across social media platforms and is in the form of a video encouraging people to join in.
This is totally horrific and we have been asked to make parents & carers aware and to advise anyone who sees this content to please report it by ringing the police on 101.
