On Friday 29th September 2023 we held a fantastic Indian Street Party to raise money for the school fund. The event was organised by Leah & Usha (parents) and we cannot thank them enough for all of their hard work.
Supported by a team of volunteers, Leah and Usha treated us to the sounds and smells of a traditional Indian Street Party. There was authentic Indian food available and it was great to see so many of our children trying something new and different. Very popular was the henna stall along with the traditional Chai stall. Also on display were authentic Rajasthani puppets and a fantastic collection of Indian Saris which were available to try on and dress up in. The event was rounded off with a re-enactment of the festival of Holi with children and adults getting covered in paint and coloured water! Great fun was had by all.
