I came to Stanhope in 2002, challenged with the task of creating and developing a new and exciting approach to teaching 3 to 5 year olds. We know this today as the Early Years Foundation Stage. I am as passionate today as I was then in ensuring that every child has the best possible start in school life. With the support of an excellent team, I continually strive to provide a happy and stimulating environment in which our young children flourish.

My role as an Early Years educator is of the utmost importance to me. In my spare time I love to go on long country walks with my little dog, Millie. I’m also an avid reader, I just love books…I have moved with the times however, and recently acquired a kindle!
