Our school, along with community groups and businesses around Stanhope are taking part in the Flower Festival which begins on Friday 1st July in St. Thomas’ Church. A group of children from key stage two have been working with Joanne Bevan, a local florist and horticulturist, to create a display based on the theme of Bill and Ben the Flowerpot Men.
Children across the school are also creating art work to put up in and around the church for the festival. Our display will take pride of place in the main entrance porch and will welcome visitors to the festival.
