On Wednesday 23rd March 2016 we held our Easter Service in St. Thomas’ Church. Once again the church was well-attended and it was lovely to see so many parents and grandparents there to support their children and the school.
The service began with a lively song by the local playgroup – led by Mr Gillow and great fun was had by all. The school children then sang some of our favourite Easter songs, including the very moving song ‘When I Think About The Cross’ which the children sang beautifully.
The children then re-told the story of Holy Week with the younger children making sounds to accompany the story.
We finished our service with a very loud and lively rendition of ‘Spring Chicken’ which the children loved singing.
We hope you all had a lovely Easter holiday!
