On Wednesday 22nd June class 2 went to Newton Aycliffe to visit Planet Leisure. Whilst there they took part in bowling, laser tag and roller skating. The children were really good at bowling and we had quite a few spares and even the odd strike! We then went into the Laser Tag arena where the children had to wear helmets and visors and carry their laser gun. At the end the individual results were given and Harry Stephenson was the winner having shot 24 people and only been shot once himself – well done Harry!
After lunch in the function room we went roller skating which was hilarious. Most of the children had never roller skated before and it took a while for them to find their feet (or wheels). By the end of the session most of them were speeding round the skating park with confidence which was great to see.
As always our children were a real credit to the school with exceptional behaviour throughout the day. A member of the public even commented on how polite and well-mannered they were.
