Childcare provision over the Easter Holidays

I am writing to let you know that we are opening for childcare provision for children of key workers throughout the Easter holidays Monday to Friday including the Bank holidays. We will be opening the usual hours 8am til 4.30pm.

Every single one of our team were happy to work over the Bank Holidays despite us being a Church of England school and despite this being what some people consider to be the most important Christian festival of the year. It is really important that we all pull together and appreciate that our key workers are still having to go to work and cover rotas even though schools would normally be closed. Even if only one person needs us – we will be here.

I am also pleased to announce that we have now set up a new section on our website called Keeping Connected. You will find this in the Parents tab at the top of the website. This is where you will find our Head Teacher’s Challenge and work submitted by our children. If you would like to submit anything just email stanhopebarrington@durhamlearning.net . The other active areas of the website will be the Newsfeed and Blog sections.

Thank you so much to everyone who has kept in touch and taken part in the weekly challenge – it really brightens up our Friday afternoon admiring all of the children’s lovely work.

Stay safe.

Yours sincerely

Mrs D Cross

Deputy Head Teacher
