Mrs Howes, our Literacy Coordinator, has found the most fantastic free resource which we wanted to share with you.
Over 100 children’s authors have come together to create The Book of Hopes. It aims to comfort, inspire and encourage children and their families during lockdown through delight, new ideas, ridiculous jokes and heroic tales. There are true accounts of cats and hares and plastic-devouring caterpillars; there are doodles and flowers; revolting poems and beautiful poems; and there are stories of space travel and new shoes and dragons.
The book is totally free of charge and contains short stories and pictures which are not only beautiful but reassuring and full of hope.
