On Friday 4th November Dianne Lee and Dorothy Macdonald, Friends of Stanhope Barrington, organised a Bingo Night and Raffle to raise funds for our PTA. A fantastic night was had by all and involved games of bingo and a pie & pea supper. There was also a raffle with a range of donated prizes. The event raised £778.50.
This money is used to provide a £5 reduction of the price of educational visits (£5 per child per term). As we are in a rural location the costs of transport can be significant and we fund raise to provide this reduction in order to alleviate the burden on parents.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Dianne, Dorothy and their team of helpers who give their time, effort and money in order to organise a fun-filled evening.
We would also like to thank the families and members of our local community who turned out to support our school.
