After a lapse of 10 years without a Primary School District football team, I am delighted to announce that trials will take place over the Easter break to form a Bishop Auckland & District team ready to compete for next season (2020-2021). It is with great pleasure to inform you that three children from our school have been invited to attend these trials, which is fantastic.
I’m extremely proud that some of our children have been nominated to attend these trials, thanks to their super ball skills and control, vision and balance as well as being really good team members.
The best boy and girl footballers from over 30 primary schools will be attending the initial trials and I’m sure it will be great fun and a wonderful experience for all of the children who are taking part.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish Harley, Jamie and Lewis the very best of luck at the trials where I’m sure they will play excellent football, make lots of runs and tackles and represent themselves and our school to the very best of their ability.
To get noticed for trials in the first place is a brilliant achievement and I know the boys will enjoy the day and remember this opportunity for the rest of their lives. Good luck lads.
