On Tuesday 19th July 2016 the whole school went to St. Thomas’ Church to say a sad farewell to our Year 6 children.
The church was packed with parents, family and friends who came to celebrate the end of the year and to wish our leavers well as they move on to pastures new.
Mr Myers awarded a Leavers’ Certificate and photo to each year 6 child and as always had some special words to say about each individual child.
He also gave out some very special awards:
Sports Boy of the Year – Ben T.
Sports Girl of the Year – Eleanor M.
Sarah Ingwersen Art Achievement Award – Ruby T.
Contribution to School Life – Eleanor M.
Tears were shed as we sang our traditional Leavers song.
We are incredibly proud of each and every one of our Year 6 children and hope that they will be happy and successful in whatever path they choose in life.
