The children of Year 6 say goodbye…

Every year at the Leaver’s Service, the children of Stanhope Barrington along with the other staff say farewell to the Year 6 children moving up to secondary school. Mr. Myers takes time to reflect on the experience of each Year 6 student and their time spent at the school. These tributes include special memories and often move the audience to tears and laughter. This year the children of Year 6 have been given the opportunity to say goodbye to Stanhope Barrington.

I am very sad to leave Stanhope Barrington because it is the best school I have ever been to! Mrs. Cross has really helped me catch up with the other Year 6 kids and I can’t thank her enough. Even though I have only been in this school for 8 months, I am incredibly miserable to leave. I hope that this amazing school will succeed in the rest of the years. -Millie

Best wishes to our Year 6 children for the future! We will miss you, too.
