On Wednesday 8th June 2016 the North Pennine Horticultural Society visited our school garden. Approximately thirty members attended the event, starting with tea and coffee in the hall. They were then given a guided tour of the different areas of our garden by our Eco Team.
Each member of the Eco Team spoke about a different aspect of the garden and our visitors were extremely impressed with not only their knowledge but also with their eloquence and confidence. The visitors were very positive and supportive of young people who are interested in gardening at such an early age. They told that it was the best garden visit they have had for years!
