On Wednesday the 6th of October the school came together to perform a Harvest Festival. There was one for KS1 & EYFS in the morning and in the afternoon KS2 had one so that we met the Covid Risk Assessment.
The younger children sang The Wheels on the Tractor, Xavier read a poem followed by Rev. Claire and Rev. Bruce making a Harvest rainbow which was full of all the foods people have generously given to the Food Bank.
The children then sang Thank You Lord followed by a prayer for Harvest read by David.
After that, we helped to escort the children back to school in our other roles as Barrington Buddies.
Later that day, the KS2 children had their own Harvest Festival which was quite similar except we sang Big Red Combine Harvester.
It was a very fun day as we got to play our roles as members of The CREW and Barrington Buddies.
