Harvest at Stanhope Barrington

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated food for our Harvest Service on Wednesday 6th October 2021. All food donated has now gone to the Weardale Food Bank. Thank you also to everyone who came along to the two separate services in the Methodist Chapel.

This was the first event we have held where parents, families, children and our team have come together for over 18 months and it really was a very special thing.

As always, our children were so well behaved and were a real credit to the school. They were very excited because in reality almost half of them have never been on a visit to either the Methodist Chapel or St. Thomas’ Church since starting school two years ago.

I would also like to thank Rev. Bruce and Rev. Claire for all of their hard work in putting together the Risk Assessment, taking part in planning meetings and delivering our Harvest Rainbow – what a lovely concept!

Look out for Speaker’s Corner next week when The CREW members (Xavier and David) will be writing a blog about their experience of Harvest Festival.
