On Friday 13th July 2018 we held our annual School Sports Day. The day began with our Nursery children who took part in various races including the obstacle race, bean bag shuffle and running races. The parents were delighted to see the nursery children receive their medals from Mr. Myers. Well done, Nursery children.
The school Sports Day began with the Dolphins, Golden Eagles, Cheetahs and Tigers competing against each other. There was the beanbag toss, javelin, obstacle race, relay and the race around the field. It was charming to watch the children encourage each other by cheering out names as each took their turn. Some children took encouragement to the next level by running along side their peers to help them reach the finish line.
At the end, the dads were invited to the field to compete in the dad race. There was a fine turnout and some amazing runners. Well done, dads!
