21.04.20 – New activities and websites

Our team have been on the look out for some new, different and interesting activities for our children to try at home.

· Tate Kids – this website allows you to take a virtual tour of the art gallery and exhibitions.

· Chester Zoo – is offering virtual tours and the opportunity to get up close and personal with some very unusual animals.

· English Heritage – this website allows you to tour places of interest.

· BBC Bitesize – have launched an educational package on line which has new activities every day and has celebrities and well-known personalities delivering sessions to children.

· If you search for Alex Scheffler (Illustrator for the Julia Donaldson books) and visit his home page, he has created a book about Coronavirus for children which is excellent and definitely worth a look.

· You could also join David Walliams and listen to him read a 20 minute story at his website – it’s called Elevenses!

We hope you enjoy some of these activities – let us know how you get on which and which are your favourites by sending images and messages to admin@stanhopebarrington.org.uk
